Creating a web site worthy of Buderim

Designing and operating a web site with real value to our community is one of the core objectives, we have pursued from the earliest of days.

The internet future is wide open, with video and enhanced interactivity, although we have been around only 5 years, we see our work as a significant addition to the community infrastructure and as such share in a proud history over 144 years in the making

Our hope is to document the unique qualities of Buderim community so it is not swamped by the massive influx of new arrivals, not yet aware of our community's special nature.

We actively promote Buderim's web site in our community by using cross-media promotions, letterbox drops, sponsorships and networking.

We are the first web site ever, to bring you Buderim-specific weather reports, an interactive events calendar, a unique map system (originally our own design and now using Google), current local news headlines, a blog, detailed business profiles and historical details.

Buderim’s website is found at www.buderim.com and at www.buderim.com.au, the latter address secured thanks to a random draw last year. There is a lot of competition for the top web spot on Buderim and I am not just talking about Google! We currently enjoy the number one ranking in Google for the search term Buderim, but even holding number one changes with Google's mind-boggling algorithmic alterations.

When we were awarded the Australian domain name (buderim.com.au), it was like a mandate to make the best site for Buderim. The site is a living project, designed to serve the needs of all of Buderim's community and we are proud defenders of that position.

Over 147861 people visited our site since January 1 2007 alone, with over 30,000 in September 07 and millions of hits (although hits as a measure of visits is fairly meaningless it sounds impressive!).

The feedback we get shows how the people of Buderim have claimed this site as their own - and that's great!

Who are we?

The web masters are a local Buderim family, actively involved in volunteer business and community organisations and quite frankly can't get enough of the place or the people. Our offices are at suite 5, 100 Burnett Street, Buderim, you can call in and see us during business hours Monday to Friday, but it's best to call first on 5476 7027 as we also operate a busy advertising and design agency.

We are very excited to be able to present Buderim to new residents and the whole world as a premiere place to live and visit.
